2nd Anniversary – EFL Classroom 2.0

Well, as I announced in our newsletter, it has been two years since I first flipped the switch and started EFL Classroom 2.0. Time flies and I want to say first of all – THANK YOU to everyone who has signed the guestbook. If you haven’t, please share your own thoughts. Let us know you exist!

As related there, so many others “get it”. When I started this community, I really focused just on sharing my own resources and my own knowledge of resources for teaching. I love making resources and take pride and pleasure in creating wonderful ways for teaching English.

However, I quickly figured out that it was more about “people”. Teachers and learners to be more specific. This community could enable teachers to reach out from their many times, “lonely” and isolated classrooms and make wonderful friends. As one person wrote in the guestbook – the English Language Teaching world could become “flatter”. I’ve been overjoyed at seeing how many teachers have got to know each other and even bring their classroom’s together. This is real change and the power of EFL Classroom and web 2.0. We have a powerful tool here – let’s keep making it better, year after year! Keep it positive and keep sharing…

Thank you all!

David
