A big thank you to all new members who subscribed as supporters. Every paid subscription helps us pay our bills and keep bringing low cost, high quality resources and professional development to teachers everywhere. Thank you all for sharing and letting others know about our fantastic service.
Current members that are unpaid can support and get further access to our Digital Resources site through our Access + page.
1. New Resources
- Basic Actions – Gif pictures
- Sports related resources
- Word Games
- What will you do this summer vacation?
- Happy – Pharrell Williams
2. Conversations & News
We’ve had a number of very active and interesting conversations. Get all the news in our Teaching English magazine. But I’ll mention 2 excellent items.
- Who is the better teacher? Native vs Non-Native Teachers
- Does it help to be “beautiful” as a teacher?
3. The times they are a changing ….
Sad news. After over 7 years and 42 Blog Carnivals, the end has come. Thank you to all the thousands of teachers who contributed their knowledge over the years. The blog archive and site will continue to be available – take a look, so much fantastic knowledge shared!
Plus, our teacher talk webinars will stop and continue weekly in Sept. Thank you to those who visited and we’ll revive these weekly virtual sessions next school year.
4. Basic TESOL Certificate Course
The Basic TESOL Certificate Course on July 1st will revert again to a separate paid certificate course. I’ve listened to members and improved it tremendously on a new Courses LMS that I custom built. Until July 01, member teachers can finish the videos + quizzes and get a certificate for free. Hurry up!
The LMS will also include English language courses that your students can do at a low cost and with EnglishCentral membership included. Stay tuned for the big launch!
Wishing everyone a great summer. Hope some of you get a little break!
